Amsted Rail Company, the largest freight car components manufacturer in the world, wanted to establish themselves as a comprehensive services provider for all train and freight car-related equipment in the region, but needed to expand their facilities to accommodate increased production. The client required assistance designing and constructing a new 6,000-SF warehouse to house their quality control and research and development departments. The warehouse would provide some much-needed space for testing newly developed products.
The company selected RETTEW to manage this project because of our in-depth understanding and knowledge of industry processes, our integrated design-build services model, and strong rapport with the client. Our Construction Services team orchestrated the planning, design, permitting, and construction of the facility and coordinated with contractors and architects for the project. Our turnkey approach provided the client with a streamlined design-build process that prioritizes collaboration and communication, and maximizes budget resources. The project highlights RETTEW’s commitment to effective time management and efficiency.
