Program Identifies Firm’s Up-and-Coming Leaders; Broadens Employee Ownership Opportunities
RETTEW, an Engineering News-Record top 500 design firm providing engineering, transportation, environmental consulting, planning and surveying services, today announced seven employees as associates.
“These seven individuals demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities and are truly devoted to serving RETTEW’s clients,” said Mark Lauriello, PE, president, RETTEW. “They’ve consistently gone above and beyond, and I’m very pleased to have them as RETTEW’s newest associates.”
RETTEW’s associates program complements the firm’s principal shareholder program to recognize employees who consistently contribute to the firm’s growth, profitability and overall success. The program provides special opportunities for professional development and profit-sharing, and associates who successfully advance through the program may be invited to purchase RETTEW stock and become shareholders of the firm.
The following seven individuals are RETTEW’s newest associates.
Jeffrey S. Case, PE
Case is director of transportation engineering services at RETTEW, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bridge, highway, traffic and highway occupancy permitting groups, as well as leading the department’s efforts in business development, client relationship management and marketing. He works from the firm’s Lancaster office, has 24 years of experience and is a registered professional engineer in six states. Case holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the United States Coast Guard Academy and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Society of Highway Engineers and the American Council of Engineering Companies of Pennsylvania. He resides in Lower Paxton Township, Dauphin County, Pa.
Geoffrey Fix, CPSM
As senior market director in RETTEW’s oil and gas division, Fix’s responsibilities include business development and marketing for RETTEW’s oil and gas, alternative energy and utilities markets. He primarily works from RETTEW’s Lancaster, Pa., office and has 21 years of experience in project engineering, business development and marketing in the defense, manufacturing and architectural/engineering market sectors. He is a graduate of Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology, is credentialed as a certified professional services marketer (CPSM) from the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and is active in various trade and local organizations. Fix resides in York, York County, Pa.
Christopher G. Foreman
Foreman is general manager for Rettew Flowback Inc. (RFI), a sister company of RETTEW that provides the oil and gas industry with construction site inspection, pad construction inspection, pad management, traffic management and water treatment and recycling services. Working primarily in the field, Foreman is involved in marketing and serves as liaison between RFI and its clients. He also assists natural gas clients with implementing new operating procedures and projecting capital investment for the natural gas industry. He also manages and trains personnel. Foreman is well versed in the new technology used to treat flowback, and he has 22 years of experience in environmental engineering. He resides in Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pa.
Jonathan P. Kasitz
Kasitz is a client account manager in RETTEW’s oil and gas division. Working from RETTEW’s Lancaster, Pa., office, Kasitz serves as the point of contact for several of RETTEW’s natural gas clients; he has the authority to mobilize the resources needed to fulfill the client’s project and program requirements. Kasitz is also tasked with building relationships throughout the client’s organization and connecting his client accounts with key partners, technical experts and regulatory agencies as needed in order to assist them in achieving their overall business objectives with expediency and efficiency. Kasitz has 10 years of experience in environmental sciences and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Millersville University. He resides in Coatesville, Chester County, Pa.
Jason A. Snyder, PE
Snyder is a project manager in RETTEW’s transportation engineering services division. Working from RETTEW’s Lancaster, Pa., office, he is responsible for coordinating all roadway and construction management services for the firm’s natural gas clients. Snyder has 18 years of experience designing highway and transportation facilities, and he has worked on numerous transportation studies and highway improvement projects for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Snyder has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Lafayette College and is a licensed professional engineer in six states. He is active in the American Society of Highway Engineers, the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Jacobus Lions Club. He also serves as regional representative to the York Area Metropolitan Planning Organization. He resides in York, York County, Pa.
Patrick M. Walko, PE
Walko is a program manager in RETTEW’s oil and gas division. Working primarily from RETTEW’s Schuylkill Haven, Pa., office, he is responsible for coordinating all operations in the northern region of the Marcellus Shale play for one of the firm’s key natural gas clients. He has led projects totaling more than $100 million and has 14 years of program management experience. Additionally, he is well versed in the design and management of engineered systems, and he has worked in the consulting, medical and defense industries. Walko has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in physics from Wilkes University. Walko is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He resides in Clarks Summit, Lackawanna County, Pa.
Craig R. West, PLS
West is a survey group manager in RETTEW’s Mechanicsburg, Pa., office. He is responsible for overseeing surveying operations and services, guiding project teams, providing technical leadership and expertise and managing a staff of more than 30 surveyors throughout five of RETTEW’s offices. West also provides quality assurance oversight and plays a role in business development in the area of surveying. West has more than 17 years of combined technical experience in field and office environments, including extensive survey experience in GPS control, topographic mapping, boundary retracement, natural gas well plats and unit surveys, pipeline construction, impoundment construction, as-built surveys and land title surveys. West is a graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College and a licensed professional land surveyor in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. He resides in East Berlin, Adams County, Pa.
