Abbott; John P. Adamski, PE; Andrew J. Miller, SIT, CPESC; Donald A. Pasquinelli Jr., EIT; James D. Piggott Jr., PE; and Duane A. Truax.

John L. Abbott

Abbott serves as construction manager for the civil/municipal division in RETTEW’s Canton, Ohio, office. He oversees the construction and management for all roadway reconstruction projects for RETTEW’s natural gas clients in areas of Ohio, western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. He also mentors and trains staff. Abbott has more than 15 years of experience in civil engineering consulting and construction management. He has worked on projects for the Ohio Turnpike Commission, the Ohio Department of Transportation and various other governmental agencies. Abbott has a bachelor’s degree in management from Malone College and a doctor of law degree from the University of Akron. He resides in Magnolia, Stark County, Ohio.

John P. Adamski, PE

Adamski is a senior transportation engineer in RETTEW’s Canton, Ohio, office. He is responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation aspects of natural gas exploration and drilling projects for RETTEW’s natural gas clients. He also provides client coordination, planning, design, contractor selection and field consulting. Adamski has more than 30 years of experience in civil engineering and highway engineering. He is registered professional engineer in Ohio and Pennsylvania, and he has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Youngstown State University. Adamski resides in Canfield, Mahoning County, Ohio.

Andrew J. Miller, SIT, CPESC

Miller is a senior engineering technician for land development in RETTEW’s Mechanicsburg, Pa., office. He is responsible for scheduling land development staff and meetings, quality assurance/quality control and budget tracking for RETTEW’s land development projects. Miller has eight years of experience in the preparation of design and permitting plans, land development plans, highway occupancy permit plans, surveys and as-built drawings. His expertise includes industrial, distribution, commercial and residential projects for both public and private clients. A surveyor in training (SIT) and certified professional in erosion and sedimentation control (CPESC), Miller is a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Technology with an associate’s degree in surveying technology and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology. He resides in Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pa.

Donald A. Pasquinelli Jr., EIT

Pasquinelli is an engineering technician in the firm’s transportation engineering services division. Working from RETTEW’s Pittsburgh, Pa., office, he is responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation aspects of natural gas exploration and drilling projects for RETTEW’s natural gas clients. He also provides client coordination, planning, design, contractor selection and field consulting. Pasquinelli has more than ten years of experience in roadway and intersection design and highway occupancy permits. He has completed design services for federal agencies, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, local municipalities and private development firms. Pasquinelli is an engineer in training (EIT) and has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Penn State University. He resides in McMurray, Washington County, Pa.

James D. Piggott, Jr., PE

Piggott is a project manager in RETTEW’s energy services division. Working from the firm’s Pittsburgh, Pa., office, he manages the planning of sources, storage facilities and distribution systems for freshwater assets for RETTEW’s natural gas clients involved in the Utica Shale Play. Piggott also manages the design, permitting and construction of permanent water distribution lines on behalf of natural gas clients. Piggott has nearly 30 years of civil engineering and land development experience, which includes his working in oil and gas services; master planned residential, commercial, and industrial communities; educational facilities; the United States Department of Defense and urban infill projects. He has a bachelor’s degree in physics-mathematics from Gettysburg College and a bachelor in civil engineering (BCE) degree from University of Delaware. He resides in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa.

Duane A. Truax, CPSS

Truax is a soil scientist in RETTEW’s Lancaster geosciences department. He performs desktop studies for specific site geotechnical and soils evaluations, and he monitors and documents drilling operations and test pit excavations for geotechnical engineering studies. Additionally, he prepares boring and test pit logs documenting soil, rock and groundwater conditions for various geotechnical explorations; he also prepares reports. A certified professional soil scientist (CPSS), Truax has more than six years of experience in the soils and geotechnical consulting industry. He is well versed in proposal preparation, project management, drilling inspection, test pit monitoring and documentation, soil classification and logging and data analysis and evaluation. He has a bachelor’s degree in soil science and a bachelor’s degree in turfgrass science, both from Penn State University. He resides in Palmyra, Lebanon County, Pa.
