Industrial facilities in the U.S. – take note!
The Toxics Release Inventory Form R is due July 1 this year.
Facilities use the form to report releases and the transfer of certain toxic chemicals to the Environmental Protection Agency and their respective state.
How do you know if you need to submit the form?
Your facility is required to report if it meets all three of these criteria:
- Is included in a Toxics Release Inventory-covered North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code
- Has 10 or more full-time employee equivalents
- Manufactures, processes, or otherwise uses any Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act Section 313 chemical in volumes greater than the established threshold within one calendar year.
If you need help to meet this requirement, contact RETTEW’s experienced staff – we can verify and ensure your compliance!
