MLB-MLBPA Youth Development Foundation
The MLB-MLBPA Youth Development Foundation strives to make youth baseball and softball more accessible through a grant program that supports:
- Capital Projects – Field lighting, renovations, and construction
- Baseball and Softball Programs – Includes equipment, uniforms, various fees, and field maintenance
- Education Initiatives – Learning opportunities with baseball and softball as the focus
- Schools – Up to $5,000 for players and infrastructure equipment
All Letter of Inquiry (LOI) submissions must contain a completed information form, an introductory letter, and a completed budget proposal.
Award Amount: Varies; no funding range is set for grant requests

Applications Due: Accepts LOI submissions on a rolling basis throughout the year, but it can take up to six months to be awarded a grant if your application is selected. For example, if you apply for funding for your season that begins in March 2024, the MLB-MLBPA Youth Development Foundation recommends submitting your application in August 2023.
