Turn-Key Specialists, Inc. (TSI), needed to obtain scans and 3D models for three separate compressor stations in Susquehanna County to help their client plan for additions to existing compressor stations and other potential construction activities. Because of our strong working relationship with TSI and the detail and quality of a previous high-definition scanning project we delivered, TSI contracted with RETTEW for these additional sites.

RETTEW scanned, registered, and modeled each compressor station site and provided TSI with an AutoCAD 3D model referenced to state plane coordinates. RETTEW completed the fieldwork for the three sites in one week and provided TSI with greater detail at a cost less than that of conventional survey methods.

TSI and RETTEW continue to work together to make the models more intelligent by adding as-built specification data from different components throughout the entire site. This amount of detail will prove beneficial to the client as it represents real-time information and data.
