A construction project expanding utilities at a dam required a full-time safety presence during construction activities. The expert needed specific safety credentials as well as experience and understanding of the construction process.

RETTEW’s Safety Consulting team brought several years of hands-on construction training to the project, including one team member’s specific degree in occupational safety and numerous safety certifications. Our team facilitated daily safety meetings on site to ensure that safety goals stayed at the forefront of operations during construction. Through insight and observation, RETTEW acted as a liaison, providing ongoing progress updates to the superintendent, who was not always on site. The four-month project stretched to more than a year, and the client awarded RETTEW two additional projects because of their excellent service at Holtwood Dam.
