Shiremanstown Telecommunications Facility

Triple Crown Corporation, a leading provider of real estate services in the Harrisburg region, had an agreement with a telecommunications company to house cellular antennas on the roof of one of their buildings. When Triple Crown sold this building, they still had to fulfill their obligation and sought to move the antennas to a newly constructed tower on an adjacent property.

RETTEW’s Construction Services group developed a turnkey solution for our client and proposed a design-build approach. Triple Crown saw the value in dealing with one entity for design, permitting, and construction services, saving time, money, and aggravation. Handling the entire contract as the construction manager, we oversaw site design, erosion and sediment control, geotechnical services, cultural resource compliance, and surveying, as well as the physical construction of the tower.

This design-build method optimized the project for Triple Crown through a streamlined process, giving the client one point of contact to satisfy all project needs. In addition, with RETTEW’s proximity to the project site, the client enjoyed security in our knowledge of local regulations, quick response times, and complete accountability.
