Susquehanna Ford Redevelopment

Susquehanna Ford needed to move their operations to a new site to meet corporate standards and expand their operations. RETTEW helped redevelop a former automobile service center and vacant lot along Route 272 into a new Ford dealership and service center. Working closely with a design-build firm on the site design, RETTEW provided land development support services to bring this project to fruition.

Throughout the process, we overcame several challenges, including obtaining access permitting from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, providing on-lot sewer and water since the site was not served by public services, incorporating riparian buffering for the existing stream at the back edge of the property, and ushering the project through local zoning and land development approvals. This redevelopment project offered a local Ford dealership a new, convenient location and expanded operations for existing and future customers.
