Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology is expanding their programs as well as their enrollment to compete with other two-year technical colleges in the region. This expansion requires new facilities to accommodate growth and the technical needs of future students. The College is phasing their growth to ensure that they can accomplish both short- and long-term goals without fiscal or physical conflicts.
RETTEW worked closely with the client to develop a master planning process and obtain buy-in from the College and community for the future plans. The master plan allowed the College to anticipate future growth and enhancements while improving the circulation, parking, and entrances. Once implemented, the plan will help increase the College’s appeal to a broader student base. RETTEW’s understanding of the College’s needs, combined with our sensitivity to costs associated with development, allowed the College to gain a realistic and visionary plan for the future.
