Knouse Foods, a long-standing RETTEW client, requested boundary surveys with specific title commitment requirements for their six processing plant sites. This assignment required extensive boundary surveys of hundreds of acres of land within a relatively short timeframe. RETTEW completed the boundary surveys on schedule and continues to provide various surveys on these sites as required.

The Biglerville site uses three large discharge ponds to treat liquid by-product from their processing plant. Because of the lower pond reaching capacity during heavy rains, RETTEW provided an existing conditions survey of the three ponds and surrounding area, including obtaining pond depths. RETTEW used Sonar and GPS to quickly obtain accurate elevations and contours of the pond bottoms so that we could immediately perform engineering analysis and take corrective measures.
